And following me is a Honor 7X and today I will show you how to hard reset the device

through settings. So to get started you will want to open up your settings

From here scroll all the way down to advanced settings and in here you will find backup

and reset. And under this section right at the bottom you will have factory data reset

Once you click on it it will present you with quick info that this process does remove everything

that is provided right here. Though actually this is fairly limited explanation

As you can see it tells us that it removes account, system apps and data settings, installed apps

Now system and app data kind of also correlates with installed apps

So yeah that's one thing. And additionally it removes basically everything else like photos, music, user data and so on

Anything that you have put on this device after the setup will be completely gone. Some of those things can be regained like installed apps, you can just reinstall them

accounts, you can just re-log in. But things like for instance user data, if it wasn't synced to cloud you will lose it

So make sure you create a backup just so you don't. And from there we can select, once you've actually backed up your device or if you didn't
