hard reset of the device in order to get rid of screen lock

So to get started you want to hold the power key and then select power off

Wait for the device to shut off and once it has, we'll then hold the power key and volume up

So basically now that it's off, hold both of those keys, volume up and power key

And after about 5 seconds you will release only the power key

So right about now. But keep holding volume up. And we should be in the recovery mode

So there it is. And from here we will use only volume keys to navigate, so volume down to go down and

volume up to go up and power key will be used to confirm. With that in mind let's select wipe data and then confirm it with power key and then confirm

it again by selecting wipe all data and then confirm. And now the process will start removing it and then you should get this back to main
