Welcome, everyone is an iPad Pro 11 from 2020 and today I will go over
0:10
unboxing along with a brief overview of the device. So to get started this device was
0:16
released in the March of 2020 so roughly about three months ago and this is the
0:22
bug that comes in so the typical Apple packaging and nothing special here
0:30
here we go let's pop that open now the packaging as always my opinion is
0:39
probably one of the best in the market when it comes down to like the experience
0:43
of opening something it just seems premium also as you just seen the devices
0:47
already set up so I don't have to go to the hustle audit on the video popping
0:54
it open get out get the device I'm just gonna set it onto this
0:59
side for now. Then inside we got the booklet, so there are stickers in here
1:09
designed by Apple and California produced in China. They didn't bother adding that in
1:17
Let's see. Let's pop all of this out. Oh we got a Synerjack tool
1:30
paperwork that no one cares about, tips out to use your gesture navigation
1:35
and yeah. So I just dumped it to this side, nothing really important here
1:41
And we got a cable. So it's a Type C to Type C which is actually surprising
1:49
I wasn't expecting that actually. So let's pop that back in here
1:56
Then we got a charger. Now this is an improvement over the previous chargers
2:02
It's an 18 watt charger, so it does fast charging, and yeah
2:07
Now I found it kind of funny. The charger has symboled in India
2:13
It's written on there in a super tiny and faint text, so it's barely visible on here
2:20
Okay, so that's basically all we get in the box, or this is just all empty
2:25
So let's just set out to this side and go to the..
2:29
Mind device, now I'm going to set it sideways, it's probably going to be better in terms of visibility
2:39
So there we go. Now the device itself has an 11 inch display, which is the power button, there we go
2:49
So that's an 11 inch display with a resolution of 1668 by 2388
2:55
It comes down to be 82.9 screen to body ratio. shows so you do have these kind of thick pistols around. Could have been better in my opinion
3:04
And pixels per inch is 256. So you're not getting like these super high resolution displays on here
3:13
Which is kind of weird considering other devices now are pushing like 4k resolutions on the phone
3:22
So I would expect it a little bit better on a tablet. Well, maybe not better than 4K but
3:28
but at least 2K would have been probably nice. This is kind of, huh
3:38
would have liked to see it a little bit higher resolution. And also the display is an IPS instead of
3:43
I believe, on the normal iPhones that have been released like iPhone 10 or so
3:49
It already came with OLED, I believe. So here we just get a typical IPS Now it a fairly decent IPS in defense of it It does look really good bright and vibrant
4:03
with fairly deep blacks, honestly. But still, OLED will have deeper ones
4:10
Now, in terms of cameras, you're not getting much in terms of all pixels or megapixels in the camera
4:19
You have the sensors right here, so we have a main one. a 12 megapixel then you have a 10 megapixel and the LiDAR sensor so lighter is this
4:28
little weird circle right here doesn't look like it has any sensor but it well I
4:35
believe it sends out light and measures how far it goes to determine how far away
4:40
object is but even though you have only a 12 megapixel cameras on here
4:46
top tops 12 megapixel it does shoot 4K at 60 frames so that was like
4:52
surprising to me it apparently it didn't skin powder on that which is really nice
4:59
And in terms of the front camera it shoots up to an ADP 30 and 60 so nothing mind-blowing but
5:08
this is a 7 megapixel sensor and it looks fairly decent honestly if I'm gonna launch it really
5:15
quickly. Let's just camera portrait I assume there we go. So it does seem a little bit
5:24
It does a terrible job in sensing where my hair ends, as you can see
5:30
It does blur it out to oblivion. Could have been better. And maybe if there is a way to disable the..
5:42
Let's see. Maybe if there is a way to disable the blur, it would have been better, but at the moment..
5:50
see this live off doesn't really matter here but yeah the blur on it
5:58
okay so there it is now it's can and you can see it's all significantly better without that
6:05
one portrait it's god awful um so yeah let's leave this now like i said the cameras are fairly
6:16
decent they shoot i have fairly high quality and also well, high resolution, so 4K60
6:25
Now I'm going to get a couple props right here, just so I can take a couple pictures
6:29
like a elderly person, shooting photos with tablets. Assuming my battery level allows me
6:40
It's at 5%, so hopefully it won't be enough. Let's go. Let's go to photo
6:50
Now I'm gonna maybe move it to the side so you can see the screen right here
7:20
conditions for just testing out photos, right, like I just did, but still should show at least a bit
7:27
of the capability of the camera. Now, this is basically just a single photo
7:35
It does blur out a little bit. It's not maybe as detailed as some other cameras, but then it is only using a 12 megapixel sensor
7:43
so don't expect anything massively, like massive quality out of here, so you can basically see
7:50
each little grain of the paint or something like that It still did a fairly decent job in terms of the quality itself It does keep a lot of detail in it and when you zooming in you only lose it
8:03
Further out you don't really see that, which is expected from just a 12 megapixel sensor
8:10
Then moving on to some other information. The device comes with a 6 gig RAM and this is just a single option
8:19
and there is no other one in terms of RAM. And it has the A12 Z-Bionic chip
8:26
And in terms of storage, you have multiple variants. You have 128 as the lowest one
8:32
Going to 256, 512, and 1 terabyte. Now, honestly, I would probably discourage you
8:41
from going for the lowest one, 128. At this day and age, this is just kind of a laughable amount of storage
8:49
useless in a way you download a couple movies pump up music if you don't use
8:56
Spotify or stuff like that if you want to drop music on here and just
9:00
use it for work 128 gigabyte won't be enough for anything significant then
9:10
the device also comes with a 7,600mm battery so it does boast a fairly decent
9:17
battery here with the 18 watt fast charging. Now I'm not exactly sure how much
9:24
or how long it will take the charger to charge that 7.5,000 battery
9:30
with the 18 watts considering it is 18 watts isn't necessarily the fastest
9:34
charging you can get out there. But it's good that it is
9:41
And also you will have at least an easier way to charge this device
9:45
whatever we are because it's using a typical type C port as you can see hopefully you can get us to see it so you can use
9:54
majority of the Android chargers nowadays and use it for charging and you can get a
10:00
beefier charger there and charge it up and the device basically the device we
10:06
use as much of the watch as it can only being limited by itself in this case if you
10:13
get something like a Huawei charger which supports 40 watt charging this would be
10:18
plenty enough and this only supports I believe 18 so it is only 18 but like I said
10:25
it's easier to find at least where I'm from it's easier to find a normal Android
10:30
charger than that is an iOS fun so thumbs up for that and also the
10:35
accessibility to different accessories there which are type C you can get
10:40
dongles and also use like card reader stuff like the had external hard drives
10:45
so it does add a little bit accessibility to additional features. And this device does try to be a little bit similar to a laptop in a way
10:55
with support for like mouse inputs. So you could use the touchpad from Apple and it will work normally along with their gestures
11:05
that you would get on a laptop. But also you can just plug in a normal wired mouse
11:10
assuming you have the dungle to take the type A USB. and it would work just as well
11:18
Then the last thing that I will probably go into would be the pricing of it and a couple things that I don't like about it
11:28
So it does come at around 800 euros with pen not being included, which keep in mind this is marketed as a..
11:39
Where is it? Pro. I don't really see it too much pro if not
11:44
not the accessories that it's designed for are not included. It supposed to be a tablet designed for professionals for drawing and just creative work and it doesn include a pen for 800 euros it a little bit hilarious but then i guess it apple and they can sell a monitor without a
12:06
stand for it so we can prop it on i don't know a book or something because you know the stand comes for
12:12
another one thousand dollars so that's kind of my grip with just
12:18
more of a company than the device itself. They could have just named it iPod, 2020 without a pro
12:27
and I would have no problem. It would work just as well. And then I'd an option to buy the pen separately
12:34
But if you're naming something pro, I expected to come with the necessary tools for what it is marketed for
12:41
But the pen comes at, at least the second version of the pen comes at $130 additional dollars
12:47
So in this case, if you want to use it for drawing, you're not looking at 800, you're looking at 930 in this case
12:53
So that's a bit of my problem there. And apart from that, it's just a typical iOS experience with additions to multitasking and gestures that I believe the normal iPhones don't have
13:09
So you have similar gestures, I believe, to what the trackpad has
13:13
and when you're, for instance, in an app, you can slide using four fingers from an app to an app
13:20
Exo swipe up to recent. Which one was it? Three finger swipe
13:26
There we go. So it's four fingers swipe. So you do have a lot of those typical Apple OS shortcuts that you use
13:35
if you ever use them, MacBook or something like that, you're probably used to them
13:40
And they work fairly well. and on this, I have to say it does work so really well
13:46
And you also have the dock right here. Also, functions similarly to its equivalent counterpart on my laptop
13:56
But, yeah, apart from that, it's a decent device, and I'm just not the biggest vanity company itself
14:06
and the holder limiting the device, this could have been an even better one
14:10
assuming it would allow me to do more stuff. I can't really download anything that I would want for instance from a browser
14:19
which is just what I personally do. Here you just have to be limited by that
14:27
So if you're used to an iOS, then you probably know what you're going to be getting into
14:33
If you're not used to iOS and you're thinking about getting into it and this is your first device, then honestly I'm not sure if it
14:40
it's worth it as a first device. It's probably better if you already have a couple
14:44
devices than it does feel a little bit better when you're already in the
14:49
ecosystem but if you're kind of like trying to dip your toes into it I'm not
14:54
sure if this is the device to go for. Probably I also will probably be doing a
15:00
unboxing for the Huawei pad and they also have some pro version also doesn't
15:07
come with the pen so that's a shame But already in terms of design, it looks a little bit better, though it might probably suffer from the fact that it won't have App Store
15:19
So that's another thing to keep in mind. But when it comes up to professional devices, it works professionally, it doesn't come with professional accessories
15:29
and it's just a typical iOS experience. I'm kind of repeating myself now
15:35
So let's finish this up. So if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
