Welcome and follow me as a dodgy X97 Pro and today I'll show you how you can
0:05
enable and set up your do not disturb mode. To get started we'll need to pull
0:12
down our notifications, extend the list by swiping down again and simply look
0:16
for the do not disturb mode. Now either I can't... oh never mind there it is. It's already turned on. I'm gonna
0:32
turn it off first. So as you can see it's right over here. Now once you find this
0:37
toggle you can hold it. This will take you to the settings where I do recommend
0:41
you navigate to start off with so you can check out and customize these
0:46
settings to fit your exact needs. Now quickly touching upon just a couple
0:50
options in here that I consider to be most important. That would be people. In
0:56
here you can select who can call you and message you. Then we have schedule which
1:04
there is two pre-made ones that come with a device but you can obviously add more and you can customize the ones that are already pre-made. I'm gonna just
1:11
hop on it. It's a little bit quicker to just edit this one just to show you the
1:15
settings in here. So we have number one days which will allow you to select each day of the week that you want it to run during. Start and end time. Now if
1:22
you're planning to use a schedule just make sure you toggle it on either here
1:26
or here. And that's all you need to do to use that. And then last thing is the
1:35
duration for quick settings. When you tap on it it gives you three options until
1:39
turn off for specific amount of hours or ask every time. Now if you're planning
1:45
to enable your do not disturb mode just at random intervals maybe you're going
1:49
to a business meeting and you just want to have it just in case set up for that
1:55
kind of purpose I recommend selecting this second option four and then make it
2:01
something like four hours as an example. This will mean that every time you tap
2:05
on the toggle manually so like this it will enable for exactly the
2:13
four hours that I have selected right here. And after that time runs out it
2:18
will turn off on its own. Now the reason I recommend setting this up is because
2:22
personally I don't know if everybody's the same way I would enable it and then
2:27
I'll forget about it which when I forget about it it will just run indefinitely
2:33
in the background. Obviously changing whatever the settings that have do not
2:37
disturb mode applies to the device. So as an example if I selected that no one can
2:42
call me no one would be able to call me and I would just be kind of blissfully unaware. And this would basically make sure that once I forget about it
2:49
after at least four hours of it it will automatically turn off. So that's why I
2:55
recommend selecting this to be a some kind of timer. Anyway as you can
3:01
obviously see once you set it up you can turn it on manually by tapping on a toggle like I did just a moment ago and once you tap on it again you can turn it
3:08
off yourself as well. Once you obviously disable it it will turn off the timer so
3:13
don't worry after the four hours it won't re-enable itself. So there we go
3:20
