Welcome, Enfunom is an app for Renault and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and
0:10
tricks that I can do on your device. So starting off we'll begin with the
0:14
home screen settings. So if you pinch the screen like so, you get this little button
0:20
here for settings. I can just tap on it and it will take you straight to the home
0:24
screen settings. From here you can either change the way the home screen is, so
0:29
you can have no drawer or app drawer. Basically the first one will look more
0:36
or less like Apple does, but with all the icons dropped on the home screen. And
0:41
this one is well typical Android with an app drawer. You pull from the bottom to
0:46
get all the apps. Then moving on you have something like here, home screen layout
0:52
where you can change how many apps are on the display. So if you select for
0:56
instance this, tap on switch, now you will have more apps on the screen that
1:01
you can fit. And another thing that's here really nice, but it's actually set
1:07
by default on already fast, so it's the animations. You can change this here to
1:13
normal or slow. It has a subtle effect, not super like fast or slow
1:21
so not much difference there. If you want to go like crazy with animation speed
1:27
you could always go into the, let's see, about phone. And from here you'll have the
1:32
version, so tap that seven times. And you get, you are now a developer or in
1:38
developer mode. And now somewhere should be a option for the developer mode
1:46
Let's see. Okay, so it's an additional setting. So as you can see, you can always
1:57
search as I did for developer options. And from here if you go down, you should
2:02
see somewhere animation speed. Okay, there it is. Animation duration scale and animation or transition
2:23
transition animation scale. So animation duration would be how fast it takes you
2:29
for it to leave an app. So if you let's say turn it off, it will remove the
2:39
basically the transitions that you have between like opening something when you
2:44
usually had that, it just pops in and out of view. So let's go back and actually
2:50
revert this so as an additional settings right here and developer options right
3:00
here. It's supposed to be somewhere here. So going back to one. One is the default. You can also
3:15
change how quick menus open and windows zoom in and out. You have a couple other
3:20
things here. And as always, one will be the default off or half or 0.5 is half
3:29
speed and 10 times would be basically 10 times faster or slower I meant. So now
3:39
moving on, we're gonna go into the side panel. So more of like a smart
3:47
assistance. Not sure how you want to call it. Right here we have a couple nifty
3:52
things you can have or add. You have the quick functions which can add some to it by just
4:01
selecting add more apps right here and select what you want to add to have like
4:07
basically quick access to it. You can also disable or enable this. So this panel
4:12
will show or hide. You have like step tracker, other things, favorite contacts
4:18
right here so you can add some contacts to it. You can also add another panels to
4:26
it if you like. See recommended, live, you have different ones. It looks like for
4:32
the most part most of them are on. So yeah. And you can also go into settings
4:38
and disable it if you don't want this panel at all. And we'll go into
4:42
settings and then go down to... the bottom I think it was. There it is. Smart and service right here and it's
5:00
the smart assistant. If you flip that off, you lose that panel altogether. Now I
5:09
didn't find any way to let's say enable the Google feed as most other Android
5:13
have it. So I'm not sure if that is possible or not. I just didn't find a way
5:18
But you can disable it if you don't like it. Now moving on. I have the... or something
5:26
that I would like to change and show you. By default when you go into camera for
5:31
instance and go to video it will be set in settings to 30 frames which in my
5:40
opinion for this device or overly recording if you like recording is not
5:44
really acceptable. We're not recording cinematic movies. So 60 frames is way
5:53
better and makes the entire video look way smoother. Even if I like move it
5:57
around you can see just looks so smooth just in movement which in my opinion is
6:05
more desirable than having like half of the speed and make it look like it's a
6:11
little bit more jaggedy. I'm not really sure how to explain it. But that's one of
6:17
the settings that will always change and you can always change other things if they're not up to your liking. For instance if you go into photo I can
6:25
increase the photo ratio you can change how it's how it's taking the photo. So
6:31
you have one to one which will be a complete square then four to three
6:36
almost a square which is what it's up to right now. You have also full screen
6:40
which will take image of basically the aspect of the screen. So if I go back as
6:47
you can see the entire screen is covered and when you take the photo it will be
6:51
this size. Or you can also go with the 4 by 3 which is the 48 megapixel higher
6:59
resolution and as an example if you take a photo like that for instance and you
7:05
go into the photo you have way more zoom potential so you can zoom closer than
7:14
you could with previously. As you can see you almost can see every pixel on the
7:18
screen that is right here and as an example I'm gonna do the same but with
7:26
for instance this one which I don't believe it's 43 megapixels. So let's take
7:33
the same photo and this is the closest I can get. So kind of a drastic
7:43
difference in how close you can zoom and how much detail you get depending on
7:47
the photo. Mind you that when you take 43 megapixel photos there will be basically
7:52
like most likely three times the size of the previous photo. So sometimes they
8:00
might start clogging up the memory of the phone. So yeah. Now another thing I
8:08
want to show is assuming you have some games on your phone there is a game
8:14
space. If you go here game boost performance you can boost the
8:19
performance. So let's tap on enter game space. Basically it will improve the
8:24
performance of the games by limiting other aspects of the phone that you're
8:30
not really using at the time. You can also go into settings here and you have
8:37
manage my games. You can add games to this and remove them from the home screen as
8:42
you can see hide games icons on home screen. So if you check this on and you
8:49
go here the apps will be visible here and they will disappear from the home
8:54
screen so they won't be clogging up your either the app drawer and the home
8:59
screen. They will just disappear from here. So that would be everything that I
9:06
wanted to show and if you found any of these tweaks and tricks helpful don't
