And so long is a cross-call action X-3 and today I will show you a couple tweaks and tricks that can do on this device
0:14
So we're going to start off fairly simple but fairly useful trick, which is the airplane mode
0:20
So when you pull it down, you have this airplane right here
0:24
And normally it will just disable anything that you connected to, but the handy feature of it is usually you'll
0:30
when you have a bad connection, some kind of weak connection and your calls are dropping
0:35
you can enable the airplane mode and then disable it, so basically like toggle it on and off
0:40
Doesn't really matter how long. And what this will do is once it basically disconnects from any, well, everything like the cell towers
0:48
and everything, it will then reconnect to the closest one, improving your cold quality
0:52
and anything else that you might have had problem previously with. So sometimes it might be useful if you're having just problems
0:59
with your calls. Now moving on we're going to go into the button remapping so as you
1:06
know there is a button right here for the camera basically when you hold it it
1:10
opens up the camera as you can see there's a way to actually remap it and to do
1:15
it you can go to the settings so and navigate into the settings app and then
1:20
settings is just called buttons or button wherever it is see the battery
1:27
there is buttons and then you have the press action and you have camera and you can change it to video sOS touch or you can then select custom and select a specific app that you for instance want to launch so i could make it
1:46
launch phone and now if i hold it it will launch phone instead of the camera so that is you can
1:55
completely customize what it launches but yeah that's one thing now moving on another thing that i'll
2:01
show as the glove mode now don't really have very good way of showing the glove mode it's
2:08
basically allows you to use the phone once it's unlocked with gloves on and i guess it takes more
2:13
of a pressure than than touch and allows you to basically navigate the phone and to enable it
2:19
you would go back into the settings and from here under the display so somewhere on the top
2:25
display right here let's go down and there is at the bottom glove mode
2:31
And once you enable it, it will then allow you to use the phone while you have gloves
2:36
without actually needing to have your finger touch the display in a way
2:42
So yeah. Now moving on, we're going to go into the password option and more precisely to make the password invisible
2:51
And as you probably notice previously on any kind of device, Android base, when you start typing
2:58
a password, so I'll select a network where you need to actually type a password. password So once I start typing you can see that it shows first a letter or the latest letter that I have pressed always And you can actually disable that so it doesn show that letter by going into the settings So go here and then under the security
3:21
So storage, security right here. And you have this option, make password visible
3:27
Now by default, this is enabled. So what you want to do is just disable it like so
3:32
And now if we go back into the Wi-Fi settings and I tap on any kind of password
3:37
can see that it's an immediate dot there is no letter visible on the line right there
3:44
just adds a little bit of more security yeah now moving on to the last thing that I want
3:52
to show is the scheduled power on and off now you might wonder what that's for
3:57
I mean I can turn off the display or the phone myself but basically what it allows
4:02
you to do is well as name states create a scheduled reboot of the device
4:07
and you would want to do that sometimes like around once a week to improve the performance of the phone itself
4:14
Once the phone turns off, it will then wipe cache. So basically all the disposable files that it doesn't need
4:20
When the phone skishots off and turns back on, it will then have basically more RAM and should run also smoother
4:28
And you can set it up to basically do that in like, I don't know, at night and set it up at an interval of like 10 minutes
4:36
so for instance it turns off and 10 minutes later it turns back on at a time that you won't be using the phone at all
4:43
and to do it you want to go back into the settings and go all the way down and you have the schedule power on and off and you have a schedule There a preset which you can change So you can see it by default set to every day
4:58
If you enable that, now you would have to enable both of them
5:02
Otherwise, let's say if you have a scheduled power off enabled, it will only turn off your device and it will not turn it back on
5:09
So we'd have to do that manually. So you want to enable both of them. And if you're trying just to do it for that one specific
5:15
a reason so the device shuts off at a once per week to basically improve the performance of it
5:23
You can just select one of the weeks that you want. I'm going to choose Saturday. So I'm going to
5:28
disable everything else. And the same thing for turn off. And from there, I want to tap on the hour
5:37
So I want to set it up to, for instance, go off at like 11. Cool. Sounds good. And then I wanted to
5:45
turn it back on at 11, for instance 10. Like so, tap on done
5:54
And now once it said like this, every Saturday it will turn
5:59
the device will basically turn off automatically at 11 and turn back on at 1110
6:05
And that should be good enough. So yeah, those are basically all the tweaks and tricks that I want to share
6:12
And if you found any of them helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks
