Hi everyone, in front of me I've got Nokia X10 and let me share with you how to block a number on this device

So basically we've got two different ways to block a number. We can do it from the contacts level let's say

and we can do it using the settings and of course I'll show you both options

So let's begin with the contact list, so with the numbers which you've got currently saved

Let's enter the contact list, find the contact you'd like to block and tap on it

And now let's tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner

Now let's tap on block numbers and here your device will ask if you really want to do it

because you will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from it

I don't want to report it as a spam so let me untick this option and if you are ready tap on block

And as you can see here we've got this characteristic icon, what's more it literally says

that this number is blocked so you will not receive any calls

Of course you can unblock it the same way, just tap on the three dots icon and tap on unblock

but let me leave it like this, we will check if it will actually appear on the blacklist

So now we can go back and I'd like to show you the second way to block a number by using the settings

and in this way you do not have to have the number saved, you can insert it manually let's say

So it doesn't really matter if you will be on the contacts, reasons or favorites

just tap on the three dots icon and tap on settings. Here we have to enter blocked numbers and as you can see that's our block list

what's more here we've got the number which we've just blocked from our contacts

so everything went fine, we successfully blocked a number. And as I said here we can add a number manually so let's tap on add a number

and as you can see right here we can simply enter it on the keypad

tap on block and it will appear on the blacklist. What's more we've got the option unknown which simply means that after activating it just by tapping on the switcher

your device will be allowed to block the calls from all unidentified callers so it may be quite useful

Of course you can turn it off the same way and if you want to unblock the number just tap on this X button right next to it
