Welcome. In front of me is a Motorola Moto G62 and today I'll show you how you can hard reset

this device through recovery mode. Now this will allow you to get rid of things like screen locks

So if you have one set on your device that you just don't know, this will basically allow you to

fully remove it. Now downside is usually everybody or most of you are also logged into Google account

so this will then make the device be FRP locked once the reset is finished. And what FRP lock

means is that once the reset is finished and you're going to the setup, throughout the setup

you will need to verify that this device was basically yours, meaning you will either need

to provide the previously used pattern on this device or previously logged in Google account

So this will only apply if you are logged into Google account. If you're not then this should

go smoothly without any kind of verification needed. Additionally I will be making a video

interested stay tuned. Now jumping back to this reset here through recovery mode. I'm going to

unlock the device and you can see that I do have a pattern set and I'll progress from the lock

screen as though I don't know my pattern. So number one hold power key and then select power off

Once the device turns off hold power and volume down at the same time

This will take us to the boot mode. So in here using volume keys you want to

scroll down or scroll through the options that will appear here one by one and you want to select recovery mode like this one and confirm it with power key

Next thing we will see is most likely android with no command

Yep there we go so you want to hold power and press volume up once and we should be done in

recovery mode. So in here again using volume keys you want to scroll down and select

wipe data factory reset confirm it with power key select factory data reset

At the bottom you will see formatting data and then next thing you should see is data wipe

complete at which point reboot system now will be selected by default so just confirm it

This will reboot the device and continue resetting it in the background so it will take the device a

little bit longer to boot back up fully boot back up but once the process is completed

setup screen should appear so I'll be back once that is visible. And as you can see the process is now finished and you could set up your device however you like
