Welcome and welcome to Cubot X20 and today I'll show you how to enable and set up the

portable hotspot. And to get started, pull down your notification panel and look for the hotspot toggle, which

looks to be turned off by default. So let's stop on the pencil right here and then drag it over from the toggles that are

actually turned off. So grab it, drag it over, drop it and there we go, we now have our hotspot toggle

So once you have it added here, you can simply hold the toggle. This will quickly take you to the settings

So from here, simply tap on Wi-Fi hotspot and we can customize it from here

So we have hotspot name, as you can see, it's just the name of the device X20 or more precisely

model of a device. Then we have security, which I do recommend keeping it as it is

Below that we have a password, which by default is going to be some randomly generated password

So we can remove this one. We can set our own as long as it has eight characters in length or more

So obviously mine does. And from there, tapping on OK will confirm that password

And under advanced, we have turn off hotspot automatically, which I do recommend using this

It is a really nice feature because usually, personally, what I would say, I do forget

to turn off my hotspot when I'm using it. And that this results in me just kind of wasting my battery on nothing

If it's not being used, it is still consuming more battery when it's turned on, even if

no one is using it. So this basically helps you out with that one

So it automatically turns it off after a specific period of inactivity

Then it looks like AP band has just 2.4, no other options

And then maximum connections, it can set it to be anything from 10 to 1 or from 1 to 10 users

So by default, it looks to be 6, but personally, I think that's a little bit excessive

So I'm going to change it to 2. And below that, again, on the grayed out, we have connected users and ones that you're blocking

So those will, I believe, show up when you turn it on

Or if someone connects to it, they will show up, I think, in a different way

So anyway, I can enable it from here and disable it, as you've just seen. But also you can quickly access it, turn it on or off from the toggle itself

So instead of holding it, you can tap on it and this will turn it on. Now by turning it on, it does disable your Wi-Fi, as you've just seen

It uses the same antenna, so that's why it turns it off. It basically broadcasts a mobile network through your Wi-Fi antenna
