Welcome, I'm FlamingDaysSamsungGalaxyM52 and today I will show you how to enable the power
0:12
saving mode. And to get started, simply pull down your notification panel, look for the power saving
0:18
mode which is right here, as you can see, tap on it, and you're done
0:24
Now I'll mention a couple of little disclaimers right here. When you enable this mode, it will disconnect from Wi-Fi and mobile data, which I actually can't..
0:35
Oh, there we go. No, wait, that's hotspot. There we go. Mobile data
0:39
So assuming this would be turned on, it will disconnect from both of those when you put the device to sleep
0:43
And sleep is basically what I just did right now. Now the device waits about a couple of minutes and then it goes into this sleep mode to preserve
0:50
battery when you're not using it, obviously. And because of that, it will disconnect from Wi-Fi and mobile data, which will cause you
0:57
to not receive any kind of updates that will rely on internet connection
1:01
So Facebook, Messengers, Instagram, and so on, any kind of application like that, notifications
1:10
won't be arriving to you. They will arrive to you the moment you wake up the device, like I just did
1:16
And at that time, you'll get all of those notifications in bulk
1:20
So that is something that I wanted to mention. Additionally, as you can see, the brightness during the power saving mode did drop a little bit
1:28
You can drop it even further yourself, which does give a significant amount of battery life for such a small little change
1:33
So dropping it from max to half gives you about 3 hours of battery life or so, give
1:39
or take. And additionally, you can also take it a little bit further yourself if you want to preserve
1:44
battery or maybe you just don't want to have power saving mode on, but you do want to get
1:48
as much battery life as you can. So to do that, what you can do is, again, drop down the brightness to a reasonable point
1:56
Number 2, turn off location if you're not using it. And number 3, turn off NFC if you're not using it, which I actually don't see here. Weird
2:05
So yeah, and additionally, use only one of those. If you're using Wi-Fi, turn off the mobile data
2:11
So one of those. So turn off mobile data and vice versa
2:15
If you're using mobile data, get rid of Wi-Fi. There's really no reason for the phone to try to scan constantly for other signals if
2:23
you're using something else, which will give you some battery life. Now, the toggles that you find here do consume way less battery life than, for instance
2:33
like the brightness of the display, so it won't be anything super significant, but it's
2:39
still somewhere in there. So anyway, if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks
2:48
for watching. I'll see you in the next one
