How to Transfer Files on SAMSUNG Galaxy A52 – Move Files

In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy A52 and today I'll show you how to transfer files

from an SD card to the phone and vice versa. Now to get started let's open up our file explorer which will be in the Samsung folder

As you can see my file is right up here. Then once you open it up you will have the internal storage and also the SD card right

here so you can navigate to either one of them, find where your files are

I'm gonna quickly touch upon a couple things so things like DCIM which is a fairly important

folder contains pictures, videos captured with the device and also I believe screenshots

Then we have downloads folder below that which will contain anything that I have downloaded

or generally saved from the internet or any kind of application to this device

Now usually there's also pictures folder that will contain screenshots but that is

not the case here. It's all here as you can see screenshots

And as you can see if I go back to the SD card, SD card has basically the same kind

of folders here. Now once you find your files which I'm gonna be using a couple of photos as an example

as you can see what you wanna do is select them and you do so by simply holding them

As you can see once you hold it for about a second or so they become selected. You can tap on additional ones if you want to select more

And from here you wanna choose if you want to move it or copy it. Select one of those two options which I'm gonna go with move and once you've chosen

one of them what you wanna do is back out however far back you want to as long as you

stay in the app. And because I'm already on the SD card I'm gonna go to the internal storage now just

to keep it a little bit different. I could go into one of those folders so I'll just navigate and then when I press move here

it will move it into that folder that I'm in but you know what I just kinda want to

drop it right smack in the middle here so move here. Now if we scroll down you can see that it is right at the bottom

And that is basically how you could move any kind of file on your phone
