Infoomom is a Huawei Maitpad T10, and today I'll show you how to transfer files from your device to an SD card and vice versa
0:17
To get started, we'll need to open up the File Explorer app, which I have no idea how it's exactly called here, but I already found it, so there we go
0:25
Files, let's open that up. And from here you want to navigate into the categories right up here
0:32
And then select either the internal storage or the memory card, depending on where your files are
0:38
which for me, I believe they're going to be on the internal storage. So I'm going to check it
0:43
And while I'm already here, I'm going to mention the couple folders that you might be interested in
0:48
So number one and the most important one will be the DC-I-M folder
0:52
which will contain pictures, videos captured with the device. So any kind of pictures that have captured with this device will be in here
1:03
You can see camera, there's a bunch of photos in here. I not sure where it goes back every time it kind of annoying So pictures videos in here Then we also have the pictures folder which will contain only screenshots As you already see me open the screenshots
1:24
And also, usually there is a download folder, not sure where it is right here
1:28
It should be visible. Maybe because it's empty, it doesn't show up
1:36
So you should see download folder like this one, but in the internal storage
1:41
I'm not sure why this is so barren. Usually there is way more folders here
1:46
But yeah, basically the most important ones will be the downloads, DCIM, and pictures
1:51
And majority of the other folders that you can see here or even on your internal SD card
1:56
or external SD card should say will for the most part be empty
2:02
assuming you haven't downloaded any kind of app that will save directly into a specific folder
2:09
Now, for the download folder, specifically if you download anything using your web browser emails, it will get all saved
2:16
into this folder so that's where you can find basically the remaining of all kinds of files
2:21
Now once you find your file, which for me it's going to be the photos that I'm going to use
2:26
as an example which you want to do is select them and you do so by simply holding a file So as you will see hold it It becomes selected as you can see right here And from there you can simply tap on additional ones to select more
2:41
So this is one way. You can also tap on the checkmark right here to select every file
2:45
So I deselect majority of them. It will automatically select every file in this folder, which happens to be the camera
2:54
Now, you can also select all the files by simply selecting the entire camera fold
2:58
it's a folder itself, so if I go back, so you can see there's the folder I can select it as well
3:04
and that will include everything that is inside of it. And whichever way you do it, it's completely up to you
3:08
But once you have the files selected, what you want to do is choose one of the options
3:13
So you have copy to or move. And depending on which one you will choose
3:17
it will change a little bit of how it will work. So move option will completely remove these files
3:24
from where they are right now and move them to a new location, while the copy folder or copy option will create, basically duplicates, move the new ones
3:33
to the desired location, while the old ones will stay where they are
3:38
And I'm going to go with the move option right here. And once you select it as you can see it changes the options at the bottom so you can create new folder other location or move Go to other location and from here once you tap on it it will show you the two storages
3:54
So we are right now on the internal storage, and you can move it somewhere into the internal storage
4:00
in a different location, or you can go to completely different storage like the SD card
4:05
and from here drop it whatever you want. So you could create a folder for it, you could just drop it straight in here
4:11
you could navigate into a specific folder and drop it inside of it, and drop it inside of it, but honestly, I won't really bother, so let's just move it straight into here
4:19
And that's it. And we're still on the memory card, which is the SD, and the folder should be somewhere here called Camera
4:27
There it is. And in here are the bunch of photos that were inside of that folder
4:33
Now, if we go back to the, to the SD card, or the internal storage, as you can see, and go to that DCIM folder
4:41
now, because I chose to move it, it is empty. So that is how you would basically remove any kind of file and if you found this very helpful
