Welcome, in front of me is a ZTE Blade A31 and today I'll show you how you can
0:13
set up and enable your portable hotspot. So to get started you'll want to pull
0:18
down your notification panel, expand it and look for the toggle which for me it
0:23
is on the second page right over here. Now I didn't change the orientation of
0:28
these toggles so I hope you can find your hotspot toggle in the same exact
0:33
location. So anyway once you locate it hold the toggle the first time around
0:39
and this will quickly take you to the settings. From here you want to select
0:42
the Wi-Fi hotspot and then I'm gonna select setup Wi-Fi hotspot and this will
0:51
give us access to probably the most important portion which is the password
0:56
but as you can see the password that is set up right here is just some randomly
1:01
generated garbage so let's remove this one and set our own. Now your password
1:08
does need to have about eight or at least eight characters in length at
1:12
which point you will be able to save it. There is a couple additional settings in
1:18
here that I can mess around with but to be honest for the most part they are set
1:23
up in a way that everybody can just benefit from them so turn off hotspot
1:29
automatically. I wouldn't recommend turning that off. The name of the hotspot
1:34
it's always going to be the name of your phone so again easy to find and hide my
1:39
device. Again I wouldn't recommend turning that on otherwise your hotspot will be hidden from view and you need to insert all the information manually. So
1:49
anyway once you went through the settings right here and customize them to your liking whenever you want to use your hotspot now simply find the toggle
1:56
tap on it and there we go your hotspot is now enabled. Now as you've seen there
2:02
was a little pop-up Wi-Fi off. The reason for this pop-up is when you enable your
2:06
hotspot, hotspot does use the same antennas as Wi-Fi so it basically
2:13
turns off Wi-Fi and uses them to broadcast the signal through it so
2:18
because of that well you lose Wi-Fi and because of also this whenever you will
2:25
be using network either through hotspot or just normally on the device itself
2:31
you will be using it all through mobile network so keep that in mind. Now
2:37
whenever you're done with your hotspot you can either turn it off quickly by tapping on the toggle yourself or simply wait for the timer to run out and the
2:45
phone will turn off hotspot automatically when it wasn't being used for like five or ten minutes. So that being said if you found this video
