How to Set Up the Portable WiFi Hotspot on POCO X6

Welcome. In front of me is a Poco X6 and today I will show you how you can enable

and set up your portable hotspot. So to get started pull down your notifications by swiping down from the top of your screen

This will show you also a bunch of toggles and in here we're looking specifically for

the hotspot toggle which if it's not visible on the first page we can swipe to the left

and this will show you additional page. Now let's see if we have our hotspot here

Oh there we go hotspot you can see it right over here. Once you see this toggle first

time around you want to hold it. This will quickly take you to the settings where you

can navigate to set up portable hotspot and you will have option to change the password

Now the reason you want to go here is because by default this password will be absolute

garbage. Randomly generated jumbled mess of letters and numbers. So I do recommend

completely getting rid of this one and setting up your own new password which will need to

have at least eight characters in length. Now it can be letters, numbers, both of them

it doesn't really matter. Now below we have a couple additional options but by default

the password will be the most important one and that's really the only thing that I recommend

changing. So from there click on the check mark to save those changes and now to enable

your hotspot you can do it either from here in the settings or you can also do it from

the toggles and instead of holding the toggle you can now click on it to toggle it off and

for instance back on. Now that being said when using your hotspot it will consume a little bit

more of your phone's battery so if you're not using it I do recommend trying to keep

keep it in mind remember about it to turn it off otherwise like I said your battery

might discharge a little bit quicker which obviously that's always annoying. And in the settings we don't have any option to set it up on a timer an idle timer so like I said

you might need to oh never mind turn off hotspot automatically so there is actually an option

which will disable your hotspot automatically after a certain period of an activity where it

detects that no device is connected to it it will automatically turn itself off so actually
