This is Motorola Edge 40 Pro and today I will show how you can set up parental controls for this device
0:10
Firstly, you will need to open settings, then find and enter the accounts category
0:16
or passwords and accounts to be precise, and then remove all the Google accounts that you have added
0:22
if you have any to begin with. Now get back to the main settings page, open the Google category this time
0:28
tap at the parental controls, get started, child or teen, next. Now you gotta sign in to your child's Google account, so let me quickly do that
0:41
Then proceed with the Google login as you would normally do, nothing really different here
0:48
Then select the account you have just logged into from the list
0:52
and sign in to another Google account, this time belonging to you as a parent
0:56
or to put it in more comprehensive terms, log in to the Google account you will be using to supervise your child's activity
1:08
Then you will be forwarded to the about supervision page, in here, scroll it all the way down
1:13
and enter the Google, the password of the child's Google account one more time
1:20
then tap at the agree button to your bottom right, choose the allow option at the, well, dialog window that follows
1:28
and wait for the parent and child accounts to be linked. Then hit the next button, the managing apps step we can skip
1:43
the same applies for the following step, that is the manage restrictions or something like that
1:49
manage filters and settings, excuse me. From here, if the device that is highlighted over here is the phone or tablet that you will use to supervise your child
1:59
you can tap at the install Family Link button, and get the Google Family Link application automatically downloaded and installed on your phone
2:07
on your parental phone, or you can manually do that, so that's the way that I choose
2:13
Skip the step, at the child's end everything has been set up and is ready to be used
2:19
Now, you have to take your parental device, and as I've already mentioned
2:24
download the Family Link app from Google Play Store. So let me do exactly that
2:33
Once the app is ready, you can go ahead and launch it. In here, make sure to sign in to the Family Link app with the parental Google account
2:41
and then in the app itself, you can do all sorts of things, such as setting up the child's device usage limit, downtime routine
2:50
manage child app experience, apply content restrictions and age filters, configure account settings, manage devices, monitor your child's location
3:00
and see the child's device usage highlights. Alrighty, so that would be it as far as setting up parental controls on this phone goes
3:09
We highly appreciate your attention guys, thanks for watching and bye-bye. ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪
