This is Poco X5 Pro and today I would like to demonstrate that you can set up parental controls on this device

So to start, launch the settings app, then enter the Google category of settings

In here make sure that there are no Google accounts added, if you have any just remove them

Then you can start the setup procedure by tapping at the parental controls over here

Get started, child or teenager, next. Now sign in to the Google account that you will use for child

It is worth mentioning that the child has to not know the password to this Google account

since if they do, they will be easily able to bypass those parental controls or family link

without having to necessarily be granted with the parental authorization. So sign in to Google account, then proceed with the Google sign in as you would normally

Then choose the Google account you have just signed in to from the list over here

and start entering another Google account credentials. This time the Google account has to be yours or at least the one that you will use as the parent or supervisor

So enter the email address, enter the password, you know the drill

At the following about supervision page scroll it all the way down and type in the child's account password one more time

Now wait for the parent and child accounts to get linked. It takes a good minute, so be patient

And inside the app itself you can do a lot of cool things. For example, set some data limits, create a downtime routine for your supervisor
