Welcome, everyone. My name is Motorola Moto Z3 Play and today I'll show you how to go
0:10
through the setup process of the device. So when you first get the device and you boot
0:15
it up you'll be presented with this screen. Choose the language that you wish by just
0:20
tapping right here and selecting it from the list. I'm gonna stick with English. Now once
0:26
you select the real language tap on Start where you will get the SIM page so you can
0:32
insert your SIM card. Now this process is completely optional. You can insert it now
0:37
in the next step or complete it in the next day or lifetime and it literally won't matter
0:42
one bit. The moment you put in the SIM card it will just work normally. So I'm just gonna
0:47
skip it. Then have Wi-Fi connection. You can also skip this if you don't have a Wi-Fi around
0:54
or you can connect to one. It will allow you to later on throughout the setup process
0:58
basically connect to your Google account. And also it's used if the device is locked
1:03
with a, for instance, previous owner forgetting to log out of his Google account and resetting
1:10
the device. You will need to connect and then verify that account. But yeah, let's just
1:16
choose network right here. Then you have the copy apps and data. That's assuming you
1:32
have a backup of your older device somewhere. So you could go to Next and just follow the
1:38
provided steps. I'm gonna choose to don't do that right now. So don't copy and set up
1:44
as new. And then there's the Google sign in page like I said. Now you can log into
1:53
it if you have a account. If you don't you can create one right here or you can just
1:57
skip it all together if you don't feel like logging in right now. And the Google services
2:05
so you can read what they exactly do and then enable or disable them accordingly if you
2:12
want it or not. And up on accept at the bottom. And on the next page you have unlock with
2:18
your fingerprint. So you can use the fingerprint sensor right here to unlock the device. Keep
2:25
in mind that if you choose to have a fingerprint you will also need to have other way of unlocking
2:29
the device. So you have a choice between a pin, pattern or password. So you have right
2:35
here by default it goes to a four digit pin but again choose a different one. There is
2:40
pattern pin password. I'm gonna go with pattern. So draw the pattern. Redraw the same pattern
2:46
confirm it and now I get to skin my finger. So I'm gonna use my index finger but I'll probably
2:52
advise on the device to skin your thumb because the way you hold the device probably will be
2:57
more natural to just stop that. But because it's on a stand I'll have to do it like this
3:04
So you want to get a good read of your entire finger. So however you press it it will be
3:11
recognized. And after setup if you still have problems with unlocking the device you might
3:21
want to go back to the settings and add another one. Right now you won't really know if it's
3:26
working well or not. As you can see you don't really have a way of testing it so let's just
3:30
have them done. But later on you can just go to the settings and security and there you'll
3:35
find fingerprint. Review additional apps. OK cool. And then accept and continue for the Motorola
3:48
services. Probably have to agree to this one. Subscribe. There we go. So we have some kind of
4:05
preview here. OK continue. I'll just keep it however it is. So as you can see that's basically
4:17
the setup. Now also if we unlock the device you can unlock it with your finger. There we go. So
