In front of me is a Huawei P40 Pro and today I'll show you how to change date and time settings

So to get started let's open up the settings app. And from here scroll all the way down to system and updates

And you should see date and time option right about here. So if you want to change it, number one, you will need to disable the set automatically, otherwise you can't change anything

And once you disable it, pop out the two options right here. So number one, date, you can just tap on it and then choose the date that you want by just flipping the dials right there

And time has the exact same thing as you can see. And then just set it to whatever you want and confirm it

You also have the time zone. Now if you're planning to change the time zone, I would advise to do it first because if you change it after you set the time, it will also change the time itself

So as you can see right now I changed it to 5.05

And if I go into the time zone, which is plus 2 right now, and change it just by an hour, so plus 3, you can see that instead of 5.05 it's 6.05

So keep in mind that changing time zone will also change your time

So if you want to set those two separately, begin the process with changing the time zone instead of the time itself

But that's basically how you would change the date and time. And if you don't want to mess around with it, you can just set it to automatic and then it will use the network to define where you are and set the time based on that
