Hello! In front of me I have Huawei Watch GT Runner and I'm gonna show you how to set up the watch face with the custom image on this device
0:16
Basically, if you want to use your own picture or image as a watch face
0:22
Before we start, your watch needs to be paired with a phone via the Huawei Health application
0:28
Once the devices are paired we can continue and open the Huawei Health application on our phone
0:35
In the application you should see the Health page. Now tap on the Devices icon
0:41
Then select the Huawei Watch GT Runner from the list. Here scroll down, find the category called Watch Faces and tap on the More button right here to open it
0:54
Now tap on the Mine category and here you should have the list of watch faces
1:01
Find the watch face called Gallery and tap on it. And now we can set up our custom watch face
1:08
First we can select the background so tap on the plus button to add the picture to the background
1:14
And we have two options, Camera and Gallery. If you select the Camera option it will open the Camera app and you can take a picture to use it as your watch face
1:23
And if you select Gallery it's going to open the File Manager or Gallery app on your phone and you can select the picture from the phone
1:30
I'm going to use the second option so I'm going to select Gallery
1:34
Allow the permission for the storage. Select the app I want to use to open the Gallery. I'm just going to use the Photos
1:45
And here we have the list of folders and files on our phone
1:51
I'm going to open the Pictures folder and here I have a picture I want to use as a watch face
1:58
So I'm going to tap on it to select it. And now I can crop the image. Basically whatever is going to be in this highlighted area, this circle, is going to be on our watch face
2:11
And we can't do much honestly. Usually you can zoom in and zoom out by pinching and unpinching the fingers
2:20
You can move this frame around but I think this picture is small enough so we can't use it
2:26
But let's try something else. Maybe let's try a different picture. Let's open the Download folder and try this one. Maybe this one is bigger. Yeah, this one is bigger. It's not cut
2:38
As you can see we can move this frame around. We can zoom in and zoom out but we can move it around
2:43
So let's center the picture the way we want. For example like this
2:50
And once you're done cropping the image you can tap on the checkmark right here to confirm
2:56
And as you can see we have a preview of our watch face. Now we can customize it even further
3:01
We can tap on Style right here and select the style of the clock
3:06
As you can see we have a couple of them. Next we can tap on Layout and select where the clock should be located
3:20
Bottom or top of the watch face. And then we have Features and we can change the widgets basically under the clock
3:27
We have heart rate, stress I believe, calories, battery and no widget if you want to
3:34
I'm going to select the battery. And once you're done customizing your watch face tap on Save button
3:40
And it should start uploading to your watch. And after a second or two the watch face will be applied on your watch as you can see
3:51
And that's how you set up a watch face with the custom image on this device
3:55
