Welcome, in front of me is a Samsung Galaxy Fold and today I'll show you how to enable
0:10
the screen recording function. So to get started let's pull down the notification panel and we should find the toggle somewhere here
0:20
So it looks like it's right here, screen recorder. Now the position of this toggle might vary for you, so keep that in mind, but it should
0:26
be somewhere on this page or this one, so just look for it
0:31
And before you actually toggle it on, you want to hold it so you can customize it
0:35
So number one, sounds, you can choose if you want the media sound or media and mic
0:40
Media includes basically any sound that the device makes it, so music from YouTube or
0:47
your music player from games and stuff like that. And mic just includes the sound that you, for instance when you want to make a voiceover
0:55
this will include your voice then. And then you have video quality, 1080p, I'll keep that as it is
1:02
Anything lower might look a little bit dated, probably the best word for it
1:09
But if you're really struggling for space on the device, some case like that, you can
1:13
drop it to 720, but I strongly suggest to not go anywhere below 720
1:19
And then at the bottom you have a selfie size, so it's going to create a little bubble, basically
1:25
the size as it is right here. So you can increase it or decrease it to something smaller, depending on how you want it
1:32
And this is just a default, this is just a size here, you don't actually need to turn
1:38
on your camera, but it's accessible if you want to. So from there, it's all set
1:44
Let's go back to the notification panel, tap the recorder, let's just allow this for the
1:49
first time, so it can actually record the things that it needs
1:54
And then again it gives you the sound settings right here, I'm going to keep it as it is, so only the media sound, and start recording
2:03
And once it starts recording, everything that it will do will be recorded, and you can see
2:08
this little transparent window right here, when you interact with it, it becomes not transparent
2:16
You can also tap here to toggle the camera, as you can see
2:20
The camera is removable as you can also see, so you can place it in some corner, and yeah
2:27
if you don't want it, you can disable it. And once you're done with recording, all you need to do is just tap on the square right
2:32
here, recording save, and now it can be found in your photo gallery
2:37
So let's find the gallery right over here, and it's right here, the 28 seconds
2:45
Let's tap on play, and allow, and you'll see that it will record it
2:54
So with this you can record almost anything, stuff like Netflix disables the ability to
3:00
record it, the screen will be black, but majority of the, for instance, apps like games and
3:04
stuff like that, won't block you, it's just the Netflix, for some reason, that has some
3:10
power to know that it's being recorded and just block it. But anything else is a fair game
3:19
So that is how you'd use a screen recorder, and if you found this video helpful, don't
3:23
forget to like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
