Welcome, in front of me is a Oppo A96 and today I'll show you how you can record
0:13
screen on this phone. Now to get started you will want to pull down your
0:16
notification panel, expand it and in here you will find this little like square
0:21
with a pen in it. Click on this and on the last page right here where you have
0:27
the turned off toggles you will find screen recorder. You want to grab it, drag
0:33
it over to the top, let it go and go back. This will add this toggle to the
0:38
accessible toggles and from here can simply just click on it and select agree
0:44
and continue, allow whatever it wants and as you can see it gives us this overlay
0:52
right here. You have the record button, the settings and close. Now quickly going
0:57
into the settings, we have quick settings as I guess, as record system sound and
1:06
record microphone but you can also select more settings and here you will
1:10
have things like frame rates and video resolution which I would recommend
1:14
changing. What are these settings? So apparently we're copying at 720p for
1:22
some misguided reason, okay. So I guess I'm gonna copy it at max because that's
1:29
all I can and in terms of frame rate we are stuck at, oh at least we have 60
1:36
frames so I recommend at least turning that on because we're forced to record
1:41
at max 720p. I don't recommend going any lower than that and obviously frame
1:48
rate will add a little bit more fidelity to how the image looks like, how smooth
1:53
it looks like. Now additionally we have a couple additional toggles below that so
1:57
we can add our front-facing camera to the recording. If you want to do that you
2:01
can enable it. Now we have a show screen touches, this will just show on the
2:07
recording a semi-transparent grey dot wherever you are pressing the display and yeah that's basically all the settings that are worth mentioning right
2:15
here. So let's close this and now start recording by tapping on a red circle
2:20
and whatever you will do right now will be obviously recorded. If you open some
2:26
apps they will be recorded too, though not every app and once you're done you
2:30
just interact with the overlay, close it and this will automatically save it. Now
2:36
going back to what I said that not every app will be recorded, there are some
2:41
exclusions to certain apps that basically block the screen recorder so as an example apps that do this would be most probably most of the streaming apps
2:51
I know for a fact that Netflix blocks screen recorder just so you can't record
2:57
like videos or screen recorders of their show and then republish it
3:05
on some over the sea so yeah that's one thing I also know for a fact that bank
3:12
applications also block video recording plus screenshots. Now that is a stupid
3:17
thing but whatever. So yeah anyway going back to the actual video recording once
3:23
you have recorded your video you can find it in your photo application right
3:27
over here. Now it will be visible on the photos along with all the photos
3:34
screenshots and everything that we downloaded in terms of images but you
3:38
can also find it neatly organized under album and screenshots or also videos and
3:46
as you can see there is the actual video recording, well screen recording to be
3:52
more precise. There we go so that is how you can record your screen and if you
3:58
found this video helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
