Welcome, I'm Filomena, RealMe6 and today I'll show you how to transfer files from your phone
0:13
to an SD card and vice versa. So to get started we'll need to open up the files app which in here is the file manager
0:20
exactly, the icon with the blue folder. Tap on it, let's allow everything and in here you should see your two storages, the phone
0:29
and SD card. I'm gonna go to the phone and primary thing, DCIM folder will contain your photos that
0:39
you have captured with the device, photos, videos and sometimes screenshots. They should be all in here and it looks like screenshots are also here and so yeah, there
0:50
is the couple photos that I have taken as an example, there's also couple screenshots
0:55
Then you have the downloads which will contain anything that you have downloaded either to
0:59
your web browser, email, stuff like that should be in here. And then you have additional folders like movies, music, those folders contain usually
1:10
files that you have placed there yourself, so you probably will know that they're in there
1:17
And then SD card has the same kind of structure with folders, so you also have the DCIM, downloads
1:24
and stuff like that on there as well. But once you find your files that you wish to transfer, which for me like I said it's
1:31
gonna be the photos right here, you want to select them by simply holding the first item
1:35
and get selected like so and then just tap on additional ones if you want to select more
1:40
than one. And you can also select all of them by tapping right here, as you can see if all of them
1:48
are selected then it gives me the deselect but if not all of them are selected then it
1:53
gives me select all option right here. So you can select it like that or you can also go for instance one position back and
1:59
you can see there's a camera folder with the four photos, I can simply select the entire
2:04
folder with all of its content. And once it's selected you have the two options, so it doesn't really matter which way you
2:12
do it, choose the option of selecting that suits you better, either folder or files and
2:18
then choose one of the two options, so copy or move. Now copy will just create additional set of the same files in a new location while move
2:24
will completely remove them from where they are right now and move them to a new location
2:29
So I'm gonna go with move, tap on that and then pops out the storages, so we're now in
2:37
the phone storage, so I'm gonna move it to the SD card and once you tap on the SD card
2:43
it moves you straight there and you can either move it to the main directory of the SD card
2:47
or if you want you can also go to the DCIM to keep it organized, that's where the photos
2:56
came from on the phone. As you can see this SD card and this camera folder is empty though
3:01
I'm gonna go back and just drop it somewhere here. As you can see it was moved, I can tap on view and it will take me to the SD card automatically
3:12
and from here let's look for the camera right here and you can see there are the four photos
3:17
that I have moved and the same process works for any kind of other file
3:23
