hard reset of the device through recovery mode. So to get started let's hold

power key and select power off. Now this process also removes a screen lock which

I have set on the device but I just kind of went through shutting it off without

even locking it. It will work just as well. So once the device is off what you

want to do is hold power key and volume up, both of those keys at the same time

and we should be in the boot mode. So from here you want to use only volume up

to navigate, as you can see, and you want to select the first option which is

recovery mode and once it's selected press volume down. This will confirm it

And when you see the Android logo with no command you want to hold power key

and press volume up once. And we're now in the recovery mode. So in here you will

use both of the keys to navigate so volume down goes down and up goes up and

you want to select wipe data factory reset as it is selected right now and
