Welcome and follow me as a Poco F5 and today I'll show you how can how do we
0:05
set this device through recovery mode. Now that being said this process allows you to get rid of screen locks so if you
0:15
have one set that you just don't know for instance like a pattern I can
0:20
perform this method to remove said screen lock. Now I'll also add that if
0:26
you are logged in into a Google account on your device just to quickly show this
0:30
so accounts right here you are logged into an account this will FRP lock the
0:37
device and what that means is when the reset is finished and you're going
0:43
through the setup you will be forced to connect to Wi-Fi and then forced to
0:47
verify one of the two methods so number one would be the previously used screen
0:53
lock pin pattern or password but you can choose also other option like
0:58
logging in to the previously signed in Google account which would be this one
1:02
right here and if you don't know either of those typically this would basically
1:07
mean that you won't be able to ever finish up the setup but I do have a
1:11
bypass for this so if for some reason you don't know either of those I will be
1:17
making a guide on how we can completely bypass this and then remove it all
1:21
together so if you're interested in that stay tuned for the next video now going
1:27
back to this one we're gonna reset the device so let's just jump straight into it I'm gonna start off from the lock screen as though I don't know my pattern
1:33
so what we need to do is hold our power button select power off and when the
1:41
phone turns off you want to hold power button and volume up at the same time
1:51
now once you see the Poco logo you can let go of the power button and once the
2:01
Poco logo disappears you can also let go of the volume up from here using both
2:07
volume keys or one at a time obviously I can navigate it so you want to utilize
2:13
those in order to select wipe data and confirm the selection with the power
2:17
button select wipe all data and then confirm as you can see it finishes up
2:26
wiping data and from there we can select power button to go back part to reboot
2:31
and reboot to system so once again power now this will initiate a reboot and it
2:37
will continue resetting the device in the background so it will take it just a
2:41
little bit longer than you might be used to to boot back up but once the process is finished and the device boots up we'll be presented with the setup screen
2:48
for this phone so I'll be back once that is visible for me and as you can see the
2:58
process is now finished and you can set up your device now like I mentioned
3:01
before if your phone becomes FRP locked I'll be making the next video a guide on
3:06
how to bypass this so for everyone interested that's literally the next
3:11
I'm gonna be doing now for this one that's basically it so if you found it
