through settings. To get started we're going to open up our settings application

From here you want to scroll all the way down to system, reset options, erase all data, factory

reset. This will give you a message that obviously erasing all data results in all the data being

erased. So if you keep anything on your device that you don't want to get rid of, maybe photos

music, user data, stuff like that, make a backup copy of it to some other device, like for instance

your computer, before you begin this. Now assuming you have already made a backup or you just simply

don't want to, we can then progress by selecting erase all data. Now if you have some kind of

screen lock you will need to confirm it. I do have a pattern so I'm going to quickly confirm that

and then I can just select erase all data once again and this will begin factory resetting my

device. This process will take about two minutes to finish up and once it's completed I'll be
