how we can hard reset this device through recovery mode. Now this would also allow you to get rid of screen locks if you have one set that you just don't know

Obviously you can have a PIN, pattern, password on here. So if you had one of those you can get rid of it this way

I don't but the process doesn't change. So to get started you would want to turn off your device

Simply hold the power key and from there select power off. There we go

Once the tablet turns off you want to hold power and volume up at the same time

So I'm gonna actually grab the device. It's gonna be a little bit easier for me

So power and volume up. After a moment you should see the screen go basically fully white and then add a Huawei logo

There we go. At which point you can let go of the power key. Keep holding volume down. Up I mean

As you can see this takes us to the Harmony OS recovery mode. So in here using volume keys

We can actually tap as well. So you could use volume keys to navigate as you can see

We can tap on the options. But you want to select as you've seen clear data

And then in here factory reset. You need to type in yes

There we go. Select factory reset. There we go. From here we're gonna select back. Restart

And this will continue resetting the device in the background. So it will take it a little bit longer to boot back up

But once it's finished we'll be presented with Android setup screen. So I'll be back once that is visible
