Welcome, I'm Flammi with the Honor 20e and today I'll show you how you can hard reset

the device through recovery mode. Now this process should also remove a screen lock if you have one that you might not know

So if I lock the device you will be able to see that I do have a pattern set and I'll progress from the lock screen as though I wouldn't know mine

And what we want to do at the beginning is hold the power key

Now the screen needs to be lit up so let's try that again

Holding power key. From here let's select power off. And once the device turns off you want to hold power key and the volume off

So both of them at the same time. Once you see the Honor logo let go of the power key, keep holding volume up

And there we go. As you can see it takes us to the recovery mode. So from here what you want to do is simply tap on wipe data factor reset and in here

you simply need to type in yes. Like so. Select factor reset and again select wipe data factor reset

And this will begin the process. Now at this stage I think it should only take a couple seconds

As you can see it doesn't even go through the entire thing. So once it's finished from here you want to select the first option reboot system now
