Welcome and follow me Zen Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and today I will show you how to enable
0:11
the developer options. So starting off we're gonna open up settings up, pull down the notification panel and you
0:18
will have the gear icon right here. Just hop on it. From settings scroll all the way down into system and then about phone and also at the
0:30
bottom you will find build number. Now tap on the build number seven times after like I think three clicks you will start seeing
0:36
a countdown to being a developer as you can see right here
0:42
And I have a pattern so I need to confirm it before I am allowed to enable it
0:46
So let's just put it in here and then you get a message you are now a developer
0:52
And if you go back to here which is the system you have now a new option that just kind of
0:58
appeared which is the developer options. You can just go in here as you can see it's enabled
1:02
If you want to remove it from the settings again you can just switch it off and then
1:06
once you basically leave it and close the settings it will basically be gone next time
1:12
you try to navigate here. And as you can see you have a bunch of options here that you can allow
1:19
MUI demo mode, debugging, there is a lot of different things. Bluetooth audio code
1:27
Now some of them are kind of annoying if you enable them by mistake or somehow
1:32
For instance I think I had audio decoded codes or something like that
1:38
Something with Bluetooth. It was basically storing files of Bluetooth on my device and it basically took most of
1:45
my memory before I realized what was happening. You can just simply remove it
1:50
Now there is a couple other things that might be useful here like for instance the window
1:55
animation scale, transition animation scale and animation duration scale. And basically what this will do is just change the speed of the device
2:02
Now in the settings normally there is no speed or animation speed settings
2:08
Maybe in the newer ones you sometimes can find like something let's say remove animation
2:12
or shorten animation I think on Samsung. But on basically every device you can find in developer options a scale and you can basically
2:22
change it to whatever you like. So you can either remove it, set it to half speed or also make it longer if you like
2:29
And each one of them corresponds to different kind of animation so you can change all three
2:34
of them to either half, off or maybe longer depending on your personal preference
2:39
Now I'm just gonna for instance show one which is this window how it you can see right now
2:44
it's set to 1 and that's basically the animation speed of it. Now if I change it to 10 it will be super long as you can see
2:54
I can also set it to off which is completely opposite and you can see it now kind of appears immediately
3:01
There is still animation of like shadow in the background that is corresponding to something else
3:06
But the window itself just appears as you can see. One has a little quick animation so you can just mess around with the settings but make
3:18
sure you kind of like figure out what you're missing before you start actually changing
3:23
some serious stuff. So that is basically how you enable the developer options and if you found this video helpful
