Welcome, I'm Filmezi, Motorola One Fusion Plus, and today I'll show you how to enable
0:11
the portable hotspot. Now to get started, let's pull down the notification panel and find the hotspot toggle
0:21
And it looks like it's nowhere here, so we can add it by tapping on the pencil right here
0:28
And I can see it right here, hotspot, so you want to grab it, drag it over, and let it
0:34
go and simply go back. And you can see it right now, it's been added, so what you want to do is hold it
0:41
This is just a one-time thing, so once you hold it, it will go to the settings where you can customize it by going to Wi-Fi hotspot and changing things like hotspot name, if
0:50
that is the name you want to change it. This is not necessary, you can keep it as it is right now, or you can change it to any
0:57
kind of name you want. Then below that we have security, so I'll keep it as it is, otherwise your Wi-Fi will
1:05
be accessible by anyone. Stop on advanced, and here we have the hotspot password, I mean, and that I will change
1:14
so you can remove this one, because it's just some randomly generated password, and insert
1:19
your own. Now it needs to have at least 8 characters in length, and from there you can tap OK to
1:24
save it. And also, at the bottom we have the AP band, I would suggest to go with 5GHz one, assuming
1:32
your device that you will be trying to connect to, the hotspot is relatively new, within
1:38
like 5 past years, it should be able to connect to it
1:43
And the way you can find out if your device supports the 5GHz band or not, is by simply
1:49
enabling it, turning on the Wi-Fi like so, and then trying to connect to it on your other device
1:56
Now if you don't see the name right here, the Motorola One Fusion Plus 3314, that's
2:01
at least for me, if you don't see that on your Wi-Fi list, that means that your device
2:07
isn't supporting it. So you would have to go back here and drop it to 2.4
2:14
Now the benefit of 5GHz, it's gonna be a faster and more stable connection, with the
2:19
downside of it that, well, not every device will support it. Now I'll also add that the 5GHz right here is something completely different and standalone
2:27
from what you see right now with the devices that are 5G capable
2:31
The 5G devices are specifically for the mobile data, this is just the Wi-Fi, and it's kinda
2:42
older and more devices are supporting this, so keep that in mind
2:49
And basically once you set those things up, you can back out of here, and simply tap on
2:54
the toggle whenever you want to turn it on or off. And once you turn it on, you can connect to it using the password that we have set
3:03
Once you're done with it, disable it, and that's about it. If you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
