I'm Fredomic, the RealMe 8 Pro and today I'll show you how to enable and set up the portable hotspot

And to get started, pull down the notification panel and find the hotspot toggle

So for me it's right over here. So once you find it, before you actually enable it by tapping on it, you do want to hold it

This will quickly take us to the settings where we can customize it

So number one, first thing that gets selected by default is the name

This is just going to be the name of the Wi-Fi. You can keep it as it is or change it to something easier to remember

It's completely up to you. The only thing this is relevant for is basically when you have the Wi-Fi list, this is going

to be the name that you will be looking for in the list

Now the important part right here will be the Wi-Fi password. So you can tap on it and remove this random gibberish because let's be honest, it's not

very easy to remember and we can make it way easier. There we go

It's a hotspot, not a secure Wi-Fi. Now it does need to have 8 characters in length, at which point you will be able to save it

Then below that we have the AP band. Now we do have a choice between 2.4 and 5 GHz

Now if you're not sure what this is, I will recommend you to try out the 5 GHz Wi-Fi and

the reason why I do recommend you to try it out at least is because it's going to be a

faster and more stable connection on the 5 GHz but the downside of it is not every device

will support it. So if you enable it and then you go into the other device and look for the Wi-Fi and you

don't see it at all, no network by this name, then that means that whatever device you chose

to connect to this with just simply doesn't support the 5 GHz and all you really need

to do is go back here and drop it to 2.4 and everything will work just fine

But if it does, then it will appear normally in the Wi-Fi list and you can simply connect

to it. And from there, once you have basically chosen the 2 settings or 3, tap on the checkmark
