How to Accomplish Hard Reset on ALCATEL 1 10 Smart 2020 – Hard Reset via Recovery Mode

Welcome. In front of me is an Alcatel 1T10 Smart and today I'll show you how you can

hard reset this device through recovery mode. Now before I get started I'm just going to quickly mention that this process

will remove screen locks so if you have one set that you just don't know this

will allow you to get rid of it. Now that being said it will also most likely FRP lock the device meaning that once the reset is finished and you're

going through the setup process you'll need to verify either one of the

old screen locks or google accounts that was signed in on this device and obviously without knowing either of

those you won't be able to ever finish up the setup. And that being said again I will be making a video

afterwards on how you can bypass this if you don't know either one of those and

then fully remove it as a next step. So anyway let's get started with the bypass or not bypass the hard reset

So I'm going to begin from the lock screen as though I don't know my

lock screen. So all we need to do is hold our power button and select

power off. So now once the tablet is off you want to

hold your power button and volume up at the same time. Now when you

start doing so when you see the Alcatel logo on a screen

immediately let go of the power button like I just did. If you hold it for a

little bit too long it will turn off the device again. So if that happens for you if Alcatel logo basically disappears

from your screen after like a literally a second or so then start

holding those two keys again. Now it looks like for me for some

reason actually didn't boot into recovery mode. Yep it didn't boot into it for some reason

So I'm gonna try it again. So again power key, volume up

And this time it worked as you can see. So from here we will now use volume buttons either one of them to navigate up or

down and we want to select white data factory reset. So we're going to start pressing volume down

like so. Once it's selected confirm it with a power button, factory data reset. It's going to tell you formatting data

Give it a moment and it's going to then give us data wipe complete

There we go. So now we're gonna press power button because reboot sys now is selected by default. So let's confirm that and simply wait

for the device to finish resetting itself. Now it is continuing the

process in the background so it will take it a little bit longer to boot back up. Like I said it's continuing resetting

itself right now. So it will take it just a little bit longer. Once it's finished we'll be presented with android setup screen
