reset in order to remove screen lock. So as you can see there is already a screen lock and what we want to do is access the recovery mode and reset it from

there but if I would try to normally power it off you will see it tells me to

off. So to do it hold power key and volume down and hold it basically till

the screen turns off kind of like it did now but it will basically turn off the entire tablet at that time and once it turns off we'll switch to holding power

now switch to power key and volume up. And once you see the Galaxy Tab A logo you can let go. And we're now in recovery
