Welcome. I'm filming the Asus ROG Phone 3 and today I'll show you how to hard reset

the device and also remove a screen lock if you have one that well you might not

know the pattern to. So let's get started. I'm gonna lock this device and you can

see that I do have a... there we go... I do have a pattern set. I'm gonna progress

from here as though I don't know it. So to get started let's hold power key

select power off and when the device shuts off you want to hold power key and

volume up. Both of them at the same time. This will take us to the boot mode. So from here using volume keys you wanna

select recovery mode. There we go. Recovery mode. And when you see it right

over here press power key to confirm it. And this will take us to recovery mode. I

believe there might be a Android. Okay it passes it. So we are right now in the

recovery mode. There is no need to do anything extra here. So once you see the

recovery mode you want to scroll down to wipe data factory reset as you can see

right over here and press power key to confirm that. And again we need to select this

option right here factory data reset. So just scroll all the way down. There we go

And power key once more to confirm it. You can see it did it fairly quickly

Data wipe complete. So once that's visible the data wipe complete reboot system now

should be selected by default and all you need to do is press power key once more to simply reboot the device. And this will, well as stated, reboot the

device but what also does is continues the reset of the device in the background

So this will take a little bit longer for the device to actually boot

back up but once it has we should be done greeted with the Android setup

screen. And also like mentioned before once the process is finished the screen
