I'm following as a Doogie, S96 Pro. And today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this phone
0:14
And getting started, we're going to begin with the gesture navigation, which doesn't actually
0:18
come default enabled, so let's pop it on. Start off by going into the settings, and from here you're going to go into the navigation bar
0:27
where you will find gesture navigation. Once enabled, as you can see
0:31
we'll have this tiny little bar at the bottom. So, overall, everything will look a little bit cleaner, minimalistic
0:37
It has basically gestures instead of buttons, so if you never use those before
0:43
I'm going to quickly guide you over on how to use them. So number one, the home gesture to basically get back home
0:50
and close any kind of application, it's just a simple swipe up. Now, I'm already home, so they didn't do anything
0:55
Now, recent applications you can access by swiping up and holding like so, as you can see
1:02
And then going back, a back gesture or back button that was usually taking one page back or whatever
1:10
It's just a swipe from a side of the screen. As you can see, it brings up this tiny little arrow and let go, it goes back
1:16
Now here it just kind of went home so let me go back into the settings where there a couple pages to navigate through So as you can see here we go
1:28
So it is fairly nice and easy to use. The only thing that I've seen people have problem with is the home gesture, so the swipe up
1:37
And that is because people try to swipe up on the bar up. And that is not really the best way to go about it
1:42
So what I would recommend you to do is start the swipe off of the screen
1:46
From the bezel, as you can see, my fingers, on the bezel, swipe up and it basically guarantees that you will get the gesture correctly
1:54
So anyway, moving on to the next option it's going to be the easy key
2:00
It's some kind of weird way of naming it, but it's basically this button right on the side
2:04
which you can assign any kind of function to it. So let's find easy key right here
2:10
And it has, as you can see, a couple different ways of being activated, so have a single click, double click, or long press
2:18
And you can choose to have either a couple functions like, for instance, start recording, open a flashlight, that's actually fairly an empty one, screenshot, open under water camera, okay, open SOS and some Zelo, or however you pronounce this application, which it looks to, needs to be installed first
2:42
But additionally we can go right here and choose to open up any kind of application with this Now we can for instance set it up to have something like a flashlight on a single click
2:52
and on a double click open up an application. So let's just make it Chrome as an example
2:58
And now I'm going to flip it over just so it's a little bit easier to see
3:02
And it turns on the flashlight, press it again, and it turns it off
3:08
And now if you double press it, it will open up Chrome
3:13
So it just set a nice, basically a key to allow you to access frequently use widgets or stuff like that quicker, which is really nice
3:25
Now anyway, moving on to the next one, it's going to be the dark mode, which you can find it under settings and display
3:33
Right here, we have the dark theme. Once you enable it, as you can see everything done
3:40
as you can see everything goes dark that will include default applications
3:43
notifications notifications shades and yeah so if you want to have a bit of a darker
3:49
look to your device there it is now I prefer it to be in light mode so I'm going to
3:54
disable it and moving on to the next one which coincidentally also
4:01
associated with kind of colors and how things look like it going to be the color mode which again it under the display and screen color mode and right here we have it set to standard vivid or is that is the other option cool color and
4:19
customize so custom one basically allows you to set it up between cool all or warm we have cool
4:27
color kind of just adds a little bit more bluish tint to it and vivid will make it a little
4:34
a little bit more saturated. Now, to some people, Vivid might be something that they like to others
4:40
Vivid might be a little bit overdone. To me, it looks a little bit overdone, although, mind you, on the camera
4:47
the camera is picking it up a little bit brighter than it actually, so looking on a screen right here
4:54
it's not as obnoxious as you can see it right now. But personally, I prefer the standard anyway
5:00
But like I said, there are people that prefer to have Vivid. It adds a little bit of a little bit more what I would call richness to color
5:08
but it can be overdone. In other cases, it might look also really nice
5:13
But, there we go. So that would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that are on the share
5:18
