And for the moment, this is the Tecno Spark Go. And today, I'll show you a couple of tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:10
So, jumping straight into it, we're going to open up Settings and navigate to the Display section
0:16
or Display and Brightness. And in here, I'm going to start off with a dark theme. So, here we have a toggle for it
0:21
You can obviously turn on the dark theme, turn it off. But also, when you tap on that actual text right here
0:29
it will give you an option to set it up as a schedule. Obviously, when selected, you can have it set on a custom timer or from sunset to sunrise
0:38
And this will make it so the device will switch between the modes depending on the time of day
0:44
which is a pretty neat option. Now, moving on to the next thing, it's going to be the status bar network
0:49
which is also on the Display and Brightness. And personally, I just like a more clean look of the device
0:54
And I don't really care about the network speed, which is visible right here
0:58
So, you can turn it off right here at the bottom of the Display and Brightness section
1:03
And this will just hide it away. Now, moving on to the next option, it's going to be the themes right here
1:09
which is in the main settings, a little bit lower. Themes and a lock screen
1:14
And you have My Themes. Now, by default, you only have the iOS one, but you can go to the online
1:20
and check out the entire store of themes. There are free ones, as you can see
1:26
but there are probably ones that are paid as well. So, keep that in mind that not every one of them will be free
1:32
assuming we have a label for free. If all of them would be free, this wouldn't be needed
1:39
So, keep that in mind. Now, moving on to the next thing, it's the system navigation
1:45
which you can find by going all the way down to System
1:49
and then System Navigation, and selecting Gestures. And selecting Gestures. This will remove the navigation bar from the bottom
2:00
and substitute it for Gestures. There we go. So, now, to navigate to your device, you swipe up to go home
2:10
I did swipe up and hold, which takes me to Recent. Swipe up, as you can see, takes me home
2:16
And also, swipes from the side will take me back one page
2:21
So, I consider this to be a fairly intuitive way of navigating to the device, and I personally do really like it
2:26
So, give it a shot, maybe you will like it too. Now, moving on to the last thing, it's a pretty simple one
2:32
but still could be useful for some people. It's the locking of applications
2:38
When you go to Recent Applications, as I just did, you have this little lock option above each one of these applications
2:46
that is running right now. Now, the reason you might find use for this is
2:50
if you're using applications like Spotify, as an example. So, as you probably know, I tend to just kind of do this
3:00
and all apps just get automatically shut down. If Spotify is one of those apps that you're listening to right now
3:06
that also gets turned off and stops playing music. But when you actually add this kind of lock to an application
3:16
I'm going to showcase this, and unlock it. And as you can see, I have two apps open right now
3:22
This one is actually locked too, so that's why I'm going to actually unlock it. There we go
3:27
So, now, if I would do the cleanup, it would only close one app and keep the other one open
3:34
As you can see, it's still open. So, if you're locking apps like Spotify, as an example
3:39
you close off all the other applications, apart from the ones that are locked
3:43
which is Spotify is one of them, it will stay open and continue to play the music
3:47
and be unaffected by you just closing up any other application, which is a pretty nice thing
3:53
And it's something that I recommend utilizing if you tend to use some kind of app frequently
3:58
And also, that app is affected, obviously, by you closing it. So, like I mentioned, Spotify, for me, is one of those apps
4:07
Now, anyway, with this being said, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
