Here I've got Elephone P8000 and let me show you how to activate recovery mode on the following device

So at the very beginning you have to turn off your phone, just tap on power key and hold it for about 3 seconds and then click on power off

Once it's off, just tap on power key and volume up key and hold them all together for

Leave your device a while to boot into recovery mode. Now tap on power key and tap once on volume up key and now you are in recovery mode

Here you can reboot system now. Then you can navigate by using volume up and volume down keys and then select each option
