Here I have HTC A9S and let me show you how to enter the download mode on the following device

First of all let's start by pressing a power key. Let's choose power off and wait until your device will be completely switched off

Afterwards let's use the following combination of keys, power key and volume down

Let's hold down together these two keys for a couple of seconds, keep holding both keys

and release both keys as soon as HTC logo pops up on the screen

And as you can see the download mode just pops up. Here you can navigate by using both volume keys and confirm options by pressing power key

Here you can choose show barcodes, you can select reboot to bootloader, reboot to download

or you can choose reboot or power down or select the system info, the first option

So let me choose the system info for example, press power key. Here you've got the serial number and the email number of your device

Let's go back. You may also show a barcode right here. If you would like to quit this mode let's choose reboot or power down
