boot this device into safe mode. So to get started, swipe down from the top of your screen, swipe down once again, and

this will show you the power button right here. You can click on it, and then when you see your power off option, you can hold it

This will then bring up a window reboot to safe mode, which you want to confirm by selecting OK

This will initiate a reboot, and when the device boots back up, it will automatically

be in safe mode. Now I'll mention that while your device is in safe mode, only the pre-installed application

will function, any app that you have installed yourself will be temporarily turned off, and

neither you nor the device can run that application, so only the stock apps that come with the

device will work. And that being said, sometimes not even all of them

So there we go. You can see widgets don't work, and there is a plethora of applications on the second

page that are turned off in this mode, and if you try to open them up, as you can see

it gives you this popup, downloaded apps disabled in safe mode. So from here you can troubleshoot your device, fix your problem, and once you're done fixing

it, just go back to the boot options once more, and all you need to do is select Restart
