the device through recovery mode and also remove a screen lock if you have

one that for instance you don't know the pattern to. Now as you will see I do have

a screen lock right here, it's a pattern and I'm gonna progress as though I don't

know the pattern for it. So number one you want to shut off the device and hold

the power key and screen turned off. Let's try that again, power key and there

it goes so choose power off and the device will shut off. Now when it's off

you then want to hold power key and volume up both of these keys at the same

time. Now once you see the Huawei logo you can let go and we're now in the Android

recovery mode. So from here you want to choose wipe data factory reset right

here by just simply tapping on it and it goes to the next page where you need to

enter a word yes so type it in by ES like so and then you can tap on wipe

data factory reset once more and once more to confirm it even further and the

process will begin. Right now here's a fairly brief aspect of it it just kind

it's finished you want to then tap on reboot system now and the process will

actually continue in the background without actually stating anything and it will take a little bit longer for the device to turn on because of that but

And as you can see now the process is finished and you can set up your device
