This is Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and today I will show you how you can enable and also
0:14
set up your Do Not Disturb mode. So to get started, you'll want to pull down your notification panel, expand it, and look
0:21
for the toggle, which for me looks to be... Let's see. Can I find it quickly or not
0:27
Oh, there we go. It's on the second page. This is, I believe, the default orientation of all the applications, or not applications
0:35
but toggles. So for you, it should be in the same place if you haven't changed those
0:39
Anyway, once you find the toggle, you want to hold it, and this will quickly take you
0:44
to the settings where you will be able to customize it. So going quickly into a couple of these options, we have for how long, meaning when you tap
0:52
on that toggle right over here, it will define what will happen. So we have until you turn it off, which is the default option all the time
0:59
We have for one hour, this, if you select this, whatever the timer you have set right
1:05
here right now, and once you confirm it, this is going to be always the amount of time that
1:09
it will turn on for. So as an example, if I confirm it right now, every time I tap on the toggle, it will turn
1:15
on for exactly three hours. I can add it right now, edit how many hours, but at the end of the day, it will always
1:20
be whatever I have chosen right here and at this point. And ask every time, which gives me both of these options with the ability for me to change
1:29
every time the amount of hours I want it to run for. So that being enabled right now, if I tap on it, as you can see, there we go
1:35
So you have until turn off for one hour or until noon, six, which actually gives me a
1:39
third option, which wasn't there before. And as you can see, I can now add however many hours I want, and this will give me that
1:46
option every single time I tap on the toggle. Now quickly going into a couple other ones, you have schedule
1:53
There's one pre-made sleep. If you're planning to use a schedule, just enable it from here
1:57
That's all you need to do. If you want to create your own, you can just select add schedule and set all the parameters
2:03
over the render and just make sure that the one that will be created underneath is enabled
2:07
if you want to use it. And then we have exceptions. So this is the bread and butter of the non-disturbed mode, which allows you to accept what happens
2:15
with calls, messages, and conversations. As an example right here, you can select who can call you, message you, and have a conversation
2:22
I guess, which I don't get what the difference is with the difference of repeated callers
2:27
So if someone tries to call you, even though this is a tablet, so I don't think this really applies
2:31
If someone calls you twice within a 15 minute period, they will bypass the call option
2:35
So by default, it's none. So no one should be able to call me. But if I enable this and someone does it twice within a 15 minute period, they just kind
2:43
of disregard this option and reach you anyway. Like I mentioned, this is also a tablet without a phone in it
2:50
So it might be a little bit hard. And we have also alarms and sounds, same as messages
2:56
So you can select what kind of alarms and sounds we'll be able to go through during this mode
3:00
And additionally, below that, we have apps. So choose what apps you want to have bypass the do not disturb mode
3:07
And last thing is notifications. So choose what notifications will show up during this mode
3:12
Once you enter all the settings right here, you don't actually ever have to come back to this section ever again
3:17
I would recommend just going over it the first time you're going to start using it to customize
3:21
it to your liking. From there, once you're done with it, you can then quickly enable it at any point by
3:27
just tapping on it, selecting turn on. And there we go. It's now enabled, which you can see right up here
3:34
So there we go. That is how you'd enable it. Now, if you went with the until turn off option, obviously, you will need to turn it off by
3:41
finding a toggle, tapping on it again. And there we go. It's now off
