Welcome, in front of me is a Motorola Moto E4 Plus and today I'll show you how to enable
0:10
and also set up the Do Not Disturb mode. So to enable it you can simply pull down the notification panel and it should be right here
0:19
It has Do Not Disturb mode labeled, so you can just tap on it and it gives you a time
0:26
period which you can enable it for. So by default it's set to 1 hour, you can just tap on the plus to add additional hours
0:34
that it will function in and you have also a few options to how it works
0:39
So total silence, alarms only or priority only. Now we're going to go into priority, how it functions soon
0:46
So this is basically how you would set it up from here as an automatically, I mean manual
0:53
enabler and disable anyway. So let's just tap on done, I'm not going to disable it now
1:01
And if you want to actually set it up with way more options and schedules and stuff like
1:06
that you can hold this button and it will take you to the settings
1:10
So from here you have automatic rules which will allow you to set it up and you have a
1:15
couple preloaded already, so we have weekend, weeknights and events. You can simply tap on one of them and modify them or add your new one
1:28
So I'm just going to tap on this one for instance. And here, number one you have days, so those are the days that it will automatically turn
1:36
on the ring. So I'm going to set it up as a work, do not disturb mode, so Monday through Friday, 9
1:45
to 5, so just select Monday through Friday. And start time, I want it to start at 9, change it to AM, 9 o'clock, tap on OK
2:00
And then end time, you want to set it, or at least I will set it up to 5 PM, OK
2:07
So 9 to 5, there we go. And then you have the do not disturb, and you have a couple options, you have the priority
2:13
alarm and total silence as we had previously. Now if we choose priority, I will actually go soon after into that, so just save it
2:23
you can enable it like so, and go back. And now this will enable itself every weekday, so Monday through Friday, from 9 to 5 on its own
2:35
You can go back, and from here, we have the priority only allows, and we can actually
2:41
customize it. So when you choose the priority, or priority allows, you can for instance choose messages
2:51
even though the do not disturb mode will be active, you can still get messages, depending
2:55
on what you select here. So for instance, you can choose from anyone, which I guess kind of defeats the purpose
3:00
of this, from contacts, which is just any contact that is on your phone, from stared
3:04
contacts, which is your favorites, and none, which is all total silence
3:10
Both have the same options, so you can choose for instance, both of them to be from your
3:14
favorite contacts, and additional option, you can choose it to, if someone calls twice
3:22
in the period of 15 minutes, the second time the call will be able to go through, and that
3:28
bypasses the option for here for the stared contacts, so anyone can basically call you
3:34
if they called twice in the span of 15 minutes. So you can, let's say, enable that, and if you go out, now your automatic rule that we
3:45
have set previously will be affected by the priority allowances. And as you can see, it's already enabled, because it's in the middle of the work time
3:56
so that is how you set it up. And if you found this video helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
