Welcome, in front of me is a Poco F5 and today I'll show you how can boot this phone into safe mode

So to get started we're gonna need to turn it off by holding the power button. Select power off and when the phone turns off you wanna hold power and volume up at the same time

Now in a second we should see the Poco logo at which point you can let go of the power button, just keep holding volume up for a little bit longer

And as you can see this takes us to the recovery mode, so here we only need to use volume buttons to navigate up and down

So let's select safe mode and then we're gonna confirm it with power button

This will initiate a reboot and put the device into safe mode. Now while it's booting in I'm just gonna quickly mention that safe mode is primarily used for troubleshooting your device

Maybe you downloaded some kind of malicious application and you can't get rid of it, makes your device virtually unusable

You can boot it into safe mode and from here you can easily get rid of it because said app will not be able to run in this mode

So right here we see that we have now a bunch of empty spaces, those spaces were previously where we had applications

But safe mode hides them away because it's not like we can use them in here

So in any case if you would want to get rid of some kind of application like that you need to go through settings and from there..

From settings and from here we're gonna look for things like for instance apps

There we go, apps. And then manage apps and here you will see all the applications that are also not accessible to you at the moment

At least not through the home screen or app page. It will be visible right here because they still are on your device but you can get rid of them from here

As an example just uninstall like this. Now once you're done with safe mode and you wanna go back to normal mode you would do so by holding the power button and simply selecting reboot
