Welcome! In front of me is a OnePlus Nord CE and today I will show you how you can

copy your contacts from the SIM card to the device. And to get started you will want to open up your standalone contacts application like this one right here

Let's skip signing in. So once you see your contacts list you probably will see some contacts here

I don't have any. So from here you want to tap on the three bars

Navigate to settings where you should see import option at the bottom here

Select your SIM card. Confirm it. And this will show you all the contacts that are on the SIM card

By default they will all be selected so deselect the contacts that you don't want. And additionally if you see some contacts that are deselected and greyed out

that's fine those contacts already exist on your phone and the little plus right here is trying to stop you from creating duplicates

So once you have everything selected that you do want click on import. This will tell you how many contacts have been imported and when you go back you should be able to see them right over here
