Welcome! In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and today I'll show you how you can
0:07
insert a SIM card into this device. So before we get started you will need to grab a SIM eject tool which will come provided
0:19
with the device in the box, but if you can't find that you could use a paperclip, there's
0:23
one on the end and it should work just as well. Now once you have either one of those, if you have a case on your device, take it off
0:34
and the tray will be located on the bottom of the device
0:40
From here push the pin in and you can see that the tray pops out enough for you to be
0:45
able to grab it and take it out. Now on the tray you have space for two different SIM cards, so one on either side
0:52
One thing to keep in mind, the bottom tray has a little bit of a plastic right here that
0:56
holds the card in place even if you flip the tray over, but Samsung decided that cost
1:01
saving is more important than giving that on both sides, so the card tends to kind of
1:05
fall out if you do it on the top side, because you know, that fraction of a penny is going
1:12
to save the company that produces devices like that. Anyway, feels premium
1:20
From here, pop the card in into your device and it should start working right away
1:26
Confirming the pin for it, that will unlock it and just put on the case
1:38
So there we go, the card works. Now one thing that I'm going to add, if you use an eSIM, so if you have an added eSIM
1:47
in here, the device will not be reading the SIM card. For some stupid reason, it can only do one of those at a time, even though the phone
1:55
has technically two SIM trace cards that it can support, or dual SIM support, that doesn't
2:01
extend to eSIM. eSIM you can have only one and nothing else, well technically eSIM you can have two eSIMs
2:09
or two SIM cards, not one of each. We'll figure why. Anyway, with that being said, hopefully you found this video helpful and if you did, don't
2:18
forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
