And today I will show you how we can hard reset this phone through settings

So to get started we'll need to open up our settings. In here, just get rid of this, in here we're going to scroll all the way down

I'm going to select General Management and scroll down and select Reset

I'm going to scroll down and at the bottom we have Erase or Factory Data Reset

This will then give us a message that all data will be erased from your phone

including your Google accounts. No, that's BS. It's just logging it out or removing the account

but the account is basically cloud-based so it's not like you can delete it

It's a little bit of a weirdly placed item, I guess. But anyway, things that will actually matter are things like photos, music, user data

So anything that you have put on this device yourself and basically it's like a one of a copy, so documents, stuff like that

You don't have to worry about apps because for the most part you can basically redownload them from the Play Store or the Samsung Galaxy Store. Same goes for app data. Once you redownload the

apps you regain the app data. So again, that doesn't really matter. So just make sure you have

your personal stuff like music, photos backed up. And from there you can just scroll down and select

Reset, Delete All. Now there is one caveat. If you are logged into a Samsung account

I believe it tells you that you need to sign out of it. Otherwise it won't let you reset the device

But I only had a Google account so it doesn't really care about Google for some reason

So it automatically proceeds to reset the device. Additionally, if you have screen lock as well

it will tell you to confirm that for some idiotic reason, even though you needed to unlock the

device to get into the settings. But the more you know. So both of these will show up, the screen

lock and your Samsung account if you have them. Once you confirm them, the device will basically

follow as it did for me with the reset. And because the device is pretty fast, the reset is
