This is Sony Xperia XA2 and today I would like to show how you can scan a document into a PDF file on this device

So first order of business is to find and launch the Google Drive app

That should be pre-installed on your phone unless you have manually uninstalled this app earlier for some reason

But if you did, you can just get it for free from the Play Store, no problem

So once you've made it to the Google Drive, I mean launched the app, tap on this plus icon, choose the scan option from the list

allow Google Drive app to have the camera access, and now take a picture of whatever document you want to scan

Then you will be forwarded to the editing menu which allows you to rotate your picture

Picture. We should allow. Okay, so here it is, the rotate option

Then you can crop or frame the original photo to make sure that the result will include everything that you need

Because as you could have noticed, my automatically cropped scan was cropped incorrectly and cut off most of the document that I actually wanted to scan

But that's fine, as you can see you can quickly fix that. You can also change the color scheme of your scan like that

And finally just hit this check icon to save. Then save again and give a few seconds for your result to be uploaded to Google Drive
