Welcome and follow me as a samsung galaxy a20s and today
0:04
I'll show you how you can enable and also set up your do not disturb mode
0:14
So to get started pull down your notifications by just swiping down Swipe down once more to extend the list of toggles and look for the do not disturb toggle
0:24
Now if it's not on the first page, it could be on a second one So just do a swipe to the left and as you can see that's where the toggle it is for me
0:32
So once you see this toggle if you're doing this the first time around I recommend holding this toggle
0:37
This will quickly take you to the settings where you can number one check out how it is set by default and number two
0:43
Customize it to fit your needs so quickly going into the more important options
0:48
We have a schedule this will allow you to either edit the existing one or create a new schedule
0:54
And this will simply allow you to set it up once and from whatever the parameters you have
0:59
So I'm just gonna top right here as you can see the sleep one Is set to work all week long starts at 10 p.m. And ends at 7 a.m. And if you enable this
1:11
Schedule right here. That's basically what will be happening. It will be turning on every single day starting at 10 p.m. And run to 7 a.m
1:19
You can obviously create your own ones with the different time frames and different days of the week
1:25
And if you're planning to do that or use the schedule just make sure it is enabled in here
1:29
And that's all you to do but for everybody else wants to use their schedule do not disturb out manually
1:36
Then you will need to turn it on from your notifications. I will get to that in a second
1:40
Now moving on a little bit lower. We have calls messages and conversations here. You can select who can call you message you and
1:46
Also, you have the option for allow repeated colors Which means if someone calls you twice within a 15 minute period they will bypass whatever you have selected right here
1:57
And then we have also alarms alarms and sounds and apps that's important and now
2:02
Last option here that I consider important is for how long And you tap on it. It gives you three options now
2:09
This will be for the people that prefer to use their do not disturb mode manually. So if you just need to
2:14
Enable it on a random occasions So obviously you probably won't be used to it. So most likely you will forget about it once you enable it
2:23
So what I recommend doing here is selecting for one hour and then for instance adding more hours like
2:30
Four as an example or however many you think you will need Once you confirm this every time you tap on the title manually in
2:39
Here it will enable it for you Here it will enable itself for exactly four hours
2:46
so when you forget about it you don't need to worry that it's going to be running indefinitely in the background because
2:52
The phone will turn it off on its own after four hours of it running which is a pretty nice thing to have enabled
2:59
For people specifically for people that probably won't remember about it because they don't use it frequently
3:06
So I recommend setting that up There we go and obviously to turn on and off your do not disturb mode simply find a toggle tap on it
3:15
tap on off There you go So with this being said if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
