Here I have HTC U Ultra and let me show you how to enter the boot loader mode on the following device

So at the very beginning let's start by using a power key

Let's hold down power key, choose power off and wait until your device will be completely

switched off. Afterwards let's use the following combination of keys, power key and volume down

So let's hold down together these two keys for a few seconds, keep holding both keys

and release them as soon as HTC logo pops up in front of you

As you can see the HTC download mode just pops up. You may navigate here by using both volume keys and you can confirm options by pressing

power key. Let's scroll down to highlight reboot the boot loader and press power key to choose it

The device is booting into boot loader mode and this is the boot loader mode of your HTC

As you can see you can also navigate here by using both volume keys and confirm options

by pressing the power key. So you can reboot here to boot loader, you can boot to download, you can enter the recovery
