Welcome. In front of me is a Google Pixel 7a and today I will show you how we can put this device into fastboot mode
0:10
To get started we're gonna hold our power button and volume up at the same time, which will bring our boot options
0:15
And simply here you wanna select power off. Once the device turns off you wanna hold power key and volume down at the same time
0:23
Now give it a couple of seconds before you start holding them, because the device, even though the screen went off, is still booting off for a couple more seconds
0:31
So after a couple of seconds we can start holding power key, volume down, which will automatically bring us to the fastboot mode
0:38
Now this is also what I guess we could consider as a boot mode as well
0:43
It's labeled as fastboot mode, but I believe if we probably select bootloader, if there is one
0:53
Yep, there isn't one, so... No, wait, there it is. Restart bootloader
0:58
I love I had it selected. As you can see it brings us to the same place, even though right here you can see it's labeled as fastboot mode
1:05
So both of these modes are basically the same thing. Now one more thing to say
1:10
When it comes down to fastboot mode we can also access it by going to the recovery mode as well, which we do
1:16
It adds a couple more steps for no reason, but just to kind of showcase this
1:21
We can go to recovery mode. Give it a second. And here we'll have fastboot mode as well, though this one will look a little bit different, as you can see
1:34
So there's two different fastboot modes that you can access in two different ways
1:39
Both of them serve the same purpose. This one would be considered an actual fastboot mode, while if we went through the other one, the other one doubled as a bootloader as well
1:51
So anyway, as you've seen, I did select the reboot system now by just pressing the power button on the selected option, which brings me back to Android
