Welcome! In front of me is a Vivo Y16 and today I will show you how we can put this phone into safe mode

So to get started, hold the power key. Then, once you see your boot options, you want to hold power off

This will then bring up a window, reboot to safe mode. So confirm it by tapping on OK

It will reboot the device and once it boots up, it will boot into safe mode

Now, safe mode is primarily used for troubleshooting your device because it disables most of the apps

It only keeps the apps active, the ones that come with the device pre-installed and not even all of them

So, for instance, most of the cases, Facebook, even though it comes pre-installed with the phone, you won't be able to use it

And obviously, any app that you have installed yourself, you just cannot run it at all

And obviously, it's for troubleshooting your device, so if an app was causing you problems, it cannot do so anymore in this mode

Finally, the device booted back up, so as you can see, we have safe mode waiting on here

Let's see if we have any apps that are disabled here. I guess all the apps that we have been writing here are disabled

I will be honest, that's the first time I have encountered something like this. I'm assuming these were apps that were normal once and I just substituted them for files

Anyway, once you're done with this mode, you can leave it by holding the power key once more and this time around you would select restart
